The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop roller has a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of combo robot vacuums that also include mops however it's priced at a lower price than many of the competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops easily.
It's important to note that the mapping process can take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your room. The object detection is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels and required a flip to free itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned and not just swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to get into places that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home and offer the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app lets you modify a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place debris in bags that self-seal. This keeps the system tidy and prevents allergens recirculating. The battery's life is enough to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacles-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model may not be as simple to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin, wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones and modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. robot vacuum cleaner cheap can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors that raise the pads when they are near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.

The docking station is a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office tidy. It can also reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so it knows what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
Other great features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups to wet messes. It has a range of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to remove the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did very well. It also offers a variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, without getting your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small spaces. It's fast and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, however it isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
